Sara and Adam’s wedding unfolded between a quiet woodland ceremony, open fields, and a reception that grew louder, looser, and more playful as the night went on. I photographed the day with a documentary approach, stepping in with direction when it helped and otherwise letting the moments happen naturally—from the nervous anticipation before the ceremony to intimate portraits in the woods, dancing, sunglasses, cigars, and their vintage getaway car. The goal was simple: create photographs that didn’t just show what the day looked like, but preserved what it felt like to be there.
